Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Gotooa, a free service to discover places, save them, share reviews and posts and organise outings with friends. Using Gotooa means accepting them.

2. Free service and account

Gotooa is free. Browsing is open; an account is needed to post, save, follow or join.

Accounts are open from age 15; younger users need consent from a parent or guardian. You keep your credentials confidential and your profile accurate.

3. Your content

Posts, reviews, photos, added places and imported TikTok or Instagram links remain yours. You warrant that you hold the rights (including consent of the people and authors involved).

You grant VLYNK a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, adapt (crop, compress) and display this content in Gotooa and its share previews while it is online. Third-party videos are only embedded, never downloaded.

4. Content rules

Gotooa is family friendly: we show places and activities, not people.

Forbidden on place and post photos: any recognisable face; nudity, worn swimwear or indecent clothing; violence, weapons, drugs; sexual, hateful, discriminatory or harassing content; spam, fake reviews and illegal content. Only your own profile picture may show your face.

5. Moderation

Photos are checked automatically by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) and, when needed, by a person. VLYNK may refuse, hide or remove content that breaches these terms or the law. Anyone can alert us with the “Report” button; every report is reviewed.

6. Outings

Gotooa handles no payments. “My treat” mode and cost sharing are only displayed between participants.

Outings and meetings are the sole responsibility of participants. VLYNK is not the organiser and accepts no liability for them. Stay careful: meet in public places and tell someone close.

7. Google data

Some information (rating, hours, photos) comes from Google Places and is shown with “via Google”. It is not kept beyond what Google’s terms allow (30 days at most, except the place ID).

8. Suspension and deletion

You can delete your account at any time in Profile › Settings › Delete my account. VLYNK may suspend or delete an account for serious or repeated breaches, after notice except in emergencies.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. Place information (hours, prices, addresses) may be inaccurate: check before going. VLYNK’s liability is limited to direct damage caused by a proven fault, within legal limits.

10. Changes

These terms may change. Significant changes are announced in the app before they apply; continuing to use Gotooa means acceptance.

11. Governing law, mediation and disputes

These terms are governed by French law.

In case of dispute, first write to contact@lamygo.com. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge: mediator to be completed (none appointed yet). EU platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Failing an amicable solution, the courts of Paris have jurisdiction, subject to consumer protection rules.
